Though Marshmello has confirmed his cross-genre attraction by topping the Sizzling Dance/Digital Songs, Sizzling Rock & Different Songs and Pop Airplay charts over the course of his profession, the producer scored a long-awaited first in 2023: a No. 1 single on the Latin Airplay chart for his sudden hit with Manuel Turizo, “El Merengue.” The tropical single was the primary new endeavor in a 12 months stuffed with them for the veteran producer, who on Nov. 3 will launch Sugar Papi, his first Latin album and first full-length that options an artist on each track.

“I wasn’t simply going to go and make this enormous ‘each large artist on the planet’ [project], I used to be simply going to work with the artists that I vibed with,” he says, noting he was notably keen on his periods with Younger Miko. “She simply confirmed up and was so good and humble, killing every thing I’m exhibiting her. Within the vault, there’s two different songs that we did and it’s straight rave music, outdated ’90s like Eiffel 65…Loopy loopy vibes.
